How to find motivation when you simply feel like doing nothing?

Today I don't even plan to try and invoke some form of internal realization through inspirational speech. I am literally just going to give you a few sure fire ways to find energy when you feel like being a couch potato!

Method 1: Use energy to create energy!

This one takes nothing more than going for a walk. If you're on the brink of calling it quits and saying f@ck it, then just peel yourself off the couch and go for a short walk. More often than not the fresh air invigorates the system and gets you fired up to do more.

When you're feeling like a dump on a log, stretch them legs!

Method 2: Drink up!

No, I don't mean get hammered or drink caffeine infused sugar water. I mean grab a cold glass of water. The most common reason for low energy, and boredom...especially bored eating, is dehydration. Most people under hydrate so it's not much of a shock. Grab yourself a tall glass of H2O and boost your energy!

Method 3: Calf een ???

Caffeine can big all you need for a little pick me up. As one of the few ergogenic (positive) supplements, caffeine can be all you need to improve energy levels and athletic performance.

Method 4: Make a plan / accountability

If you plan things out or journal them, then you have a higher chance of completing the task at hand. Having the ole To-Do list keeps you accountable. Ans who doesn't love ticking off completed tasks!

Look, I can't think for you, nor can I be the one to decide that getting off the couch is going to benefit you more than staying on it, but I can help you create a plan, navigate the intricacies of fitness, and be there to help you along the way. It's important you invest in your health. For your health is your future. You are inevitably lengthening you life when you invest in the betterment of your physical and mental health. Hire a coach, use free online resources, reach out and just ask! All these things are readily available to you, it just takes a little effort getting started.
