If you workout more, you get to eat MORE!!!
Because our bodies response to rigorous/consistent exercise is the uptake of nutrients, in order to continue fuelling our bodies we must eat. So in essence working out more allows us to eat more.
So make snacking warranted and rewarding. Before reaching over and grabbing a handful of Miss Vickies Salt & Vinegar chips think about whether or not its warranted. Did I earn these chips? Will it help me? Regardless chips probably aren't your best food selection, but given that you depleted your energy sources from a good training session it'll do more good then harm (if consumed acutely). Set a standard for yourself by understanding the usefulness of food. The why, when, and what questions are essential. And ultimately if you're like me and just love food, put in the work so you can enjoy it with a sound body and a sound mind. Make eating fun again! Enjoy!
