Everyday is another opportunity...

Cliché, but true. I’ve done my best to look at each day as an individual piece of a larger puzzle. Each and every component must serve its own purpose in order for the picture to turn out right, but equally cannot do its part without the whole. I approach Each day the same way. Knowing very well that I can’t complete my larger goal without accomplishing 9/10 of the micro goals I’ve set day to day.

Why 9/10? Because, progress comes from positive gain, not total gain. What I mean by this, is that you can take one step forward or ten, you’re still moving forward.

Adopt this mentality with all that you do. It takes expectation and sense of failure out of the equation. it builds confidence and realistic understanding as to what accomplishment really is. Progress is improvement. Progress is accomplishment. Progress is doing the little things that lead to the bigger goals. Don’t be unsatisfied with 50% completion. It’s 50% more than you did previously. Forget the past. Focus on the present. And build your optimal future.
