Creating when you don't feel creative...

Here's something I face far more often than I wish I did!
Sometimes the creative juices just aren't flowing and you've got nothing to talk about, film, produce, write... and that's ok.
A creative block doesn't necessarily mean you have nothing useful to create or you've run out of ideas, but simply indicates the need for improvement or self growth to provide new and exciting content. Taking things to the next level!
Here's two tips to get you outta that slump.
Tip 1: Just write!
This one is coming straight from the donkeys mouth. I started this blog post with zero idea what I was going to create and it has lead me here. So first step is to just start writing. Your emotions may be telling you you have nothing to produce but your brain always has something else up its sleeve. Let your hands do the typing and your brain do the thinking, sit back and see what unfolds.
Tip 2: Plan ahead.
Why create on the day? Why leave it to the moment to come up with something creative? Why not build a list of ideas that you can look back on each time you set out to create. I suggest keeping a small notebook with you so that you can jot down ideas whenever they pop into your head. This way you can firstly, eliminate any bad ideas bye sitting on them and thinking them through and secondly, develop a more accurate picture of what you are creating, when it should be created, and how you are going to present it. This aids in creating a smooth presentation of products rather than a scattered presentation of loose ideas. Planning ahead knowingly and unknowingly can pay massive dividends whether you are a professional writer or a casual blogger with an audience of 2 (like me).
Creativity should be fluid...not easy, but fluid. Use these two tips to increase your creative fluidity.
Enjoy!
